i know being a newbie (for lack of a better word) this may sound a bit premature to be discussing at this point, but relationships are an extremely important part of everyone's life. what experiences has anyone had on here with relationships, dealing with noninfected persons, so forth. i know a lot of the fear out there still stems from the panic that took place 25 years ago when the nation first took notice of the disease. despite that we know so much more about this virus and transmission, people still base their knowledge of hiv/aids on info that old.

I have a number of friends who have been partners for several years who are both negative and a couple of sets of friends where one partner is positive and the other is not. Interestingly, we really haven't talked alot about this. I do know that one set of friends, where one is positive and the other is not, are totally dedicated to each other. They became partners long after the positive one became positive and it appears that the negative friend is so very loving and supportive...
But you're right, the important thing is the relationship. And, I just don't what goes on out there anymore. THanks for helping me to think about this. chris
