Considering that it can be transmitted through it. You'd think that it could be found in it. Is it maybe the exposure to oxygen that would kill it or something?
It would be nice to be able to test somebody right there on the spot just by using their "pre".
just a thought.

So, let me understand, you want to test your partner's semen, during sex, just before he comes to see if he is HIV +? Do you think that may deflate (literally) the intensity of the moment.

why not? if the person came up negative i think the next time would be pretty hot. lol
kidding aside, it would sure be an easier task instead of going to a clinic, getting blood sucked outta you and then waiting impatiently for however long, getting a phone call to come get the results and finally going in. Personaly, I'd rather mast&$%te and find out right away. :)

Well, actually it wouldn't be easier. First of all, you would eliminate 50% of the partner possibilities since women do not ejaculate semen. Secondly, most people would rather give blood than have to masturbate in front of a health care professional. Thirdly, there would certainly be some confidentiality issues that would develop. And finally, your physician could not measure T-cells, viral load, etc in semen which are truly the indicators for assisting in determining treatment. Nice try. chris
