Hi I was wondering what advice could people give me on using sunbeds at the moment my face is basically clear but my back and shoulders are still a big problem spots that is. When I look at my face in normal daylight my skin doesn’t look great and spoils my looks however at night when the house lights are on I do look good looking since my skin looks darker and evenly tone so would tanning help my skin look better in normal daylight and how should I go about using a sunbed without doing to much damage to my skin
Incase you was wondering I am male and I am 18 years old

My advice is to stay out of the tanning bed. I wish I was 18 again and know what I know now. When I was young, I got several sunburns and also went to the tanning bed. Now I am 46 and have had a melanoma and a basal cell cancer removed. I have all kinds of pre-cancerous spots frozen on my face and arms every 6 months. I've had at least 2 dozen dyspastic moles removed, which all appeared within the past 10 years. My doctor said he sees patients develop new moles which are abnormal after using tanning beds. I can't start over... The damage is done, and I will battle skin problems the rest of my life. So, my advice is to stay out of the tanning bed!

I used a tanning bed for probably 2 months for 3 summers.
