For a few years now i have noticed this lump on the back of my head, its right where the ridge or the line that goes across the back. its a lil above right ear and to the back on that line. at times it seems as if it swells up and the center of it hurts when applied pressure and that side of head hurts when i do.
its always in same spot and itches constantly when it seems to swell...
i told doc about it and she said it was my blood pressure that was causing it, but since i been on atenolol it still happens, and it terrifies me
i am just wondering if it could be a cyst, tumor or anerusym.

Get it looked at by a neurologist or get a CT scan or MRI to make sure its nothing worse then what the doctor told you.

can you just tell the doctor you want them test done?
as i have financial aid and not good insurance

Damn , insurance problems stop people from making sure they don't have serious problems is a sad reality..ask the doctor and if he gives you a hard time go to an emergency room and say you you passed out and hit your head , say anything to get a better look at this lump as if its something bad you need it to be treated/examined as soon as possible , it can't wait till you get better insurance.
