When any of you mention that you urinate frequently do you mean that you go a lot in a very short time, go more than normal over a few hours, or a day. I get episodes where I have to go many times (like maybe 10) in a very short span of time like in an hour and a half. Seems like just as soon as I get back to bed I have to go again and not just a little bit. Sometimes this does not happen for weeks and then Bam there it is, maybe just once or for a couple days. I feel really dehydrated then I have not been diagnosed with diabetes but am considered pre stage. However, I was in hospital for something else and they feel it could have been the lack of exercise and infection. Detrol helps but if my body is trying to get rid of something seems like I should let it. Have never tested positive for sugar on strips during this time. thanks

It's been described to me as "having to go all the time". With my daughter, we'd stop in a restroom and we'd only be out a couple of minutes before she'd have to go again. Problem was that she was drinking all the time too so I would just tell her to stop drinking as much. Then she'd say she was just soooo thirsty. She couldn't go to bed without having a drink next to her and couldn't go the night without getting up at least twice for the bathroom. And she usually didn't just go a little bit, she always had a good amount of urine. Hope this helps to answer your question.

Thanks, I guess this is what I mean. I have always had a glass of water next to me at night because I always had a very dry mouth. If I get up to go I always take a sip before going back to bed. I assume your daughter is diabetic then. it seems when i went to the urinary board that there were a number of people that this happened to but they were not diabetic as I am not. Also, this is only an occassional thing with us frequent flyers. Thanks again.
