2 years ago i had a face lift. It took me two years to heal and see the final results. It was loose and this type of lift did not work for my facial structure. I just had a revision and i paid 2,000 rather than his standard 2,500. I feel there should have been no charge. I hate haggling. Well the right side appears fine, but the left is still looser than it should be. I paid by visa and i am disputing the bill until, he resolves this problem. i see the dr. on weds. to remove the rest of the stitches, do i disclose what i am plannig. I simply refuse to pay until he resolves this problem. He has an excellent reputation, but something isnt right. Also on my eyelid procedure, he did not achieve the result he promised and sent me to an occular specialist. Thats a cop out. Doesnt he owe me a refund or a revision for free. I am so pissed off.

I don't blame you, but I think I would go to another surgeon. Don't pay the bill. It sounds like your surgeon does not do great work. I had a facelift 5 years ago. It healed quickly, it looks natural and I'm still very happy with it. Normally a facelift cost more than $2,500. I'm sorry for your pain and frustration. I would dispute the credit card bill also, but I wouldn't let him work on me again.

2,000 was the cost for skin and smas lift. I let him do it because he will revise it for free if im not satisfied and give a free fat transfer. In my original lift had to deal with removing softform implants, facial liposuction, and a botched eyejob. So my case isnt so easy. So far, the revision is a vast improvement. Thanks for your help.

Good for you, that you're disputing paying for a bad job! If more of us did this, perhaps they would think twice before botching a job. BTW: what did you mean by a "botched eye job"? What was wrong that needed fixing? I just got a facelift/eyelift and have noticed a new sewn-in crease in the inner corner of one of my eyes, and have "hound dog eyes" (ie, the lower lids droop slightly on the outer corner of the eyes). At 5 weeks post op, I'm still hoping that the droopy eyelids will go away with massage, but have already been told that the crease is permanent. Also, why did it take 2 years to recover from the first face lift? Were there complications? Good luck to you in getting everything resolved satisfactorily.

On the eyes, the ps removed too much skin, causing the need for a canthepexy. I believe that my slow recoup, lots of swelling was due to a full face co2 lasering. My skin seems to retain fluid easily. Was only fat removed from the lower lid? lifting the smas helped dramatically raise the lower lids. I would really like to give my eyes a rest. I had facial liposuction and now i would like the fat back. A really bad idea. I need to look into fat grafting of some sort. My face is too thin.
