Sponsor cmmm47 07-08-2005, 08:10 PM Is she being feed too fast and choking? Perhaps she is on the wrong consistency diet for her-can she get a swallowing evaluation? Does she have an NG or GT for feeding and the tube feeding is going in too fast? Is the tubes placement checked every shift and when feeding if not on an NG pump? All of these problems can be addressed if you talk to the supervisor or Director of Nurses. |
