Hi; this is all new to me; but I really need help with figuring out why my husband keeps getting these fevers ranging from 99.9 to 102.9...They are sometimes followed by sweats but not all the time...He has been treated for AML (4) and his biobsy showed that he was in remission...He was suppose to go home but instead he started with these fevers...He then had a leakeage in his colon and has just recently had a cyslotomy bag put in for 2 months...But the fevers continue...They've tried to change his meds; but the fevers continue...He has been at the University of Pa hospital since April 18th and can not go home or continue on with the 2nd phase out his treatments without knowing the source of his fevers...He has had his pick line ck'd, his urine tested, blood cultures done, chest catscans, ultrasounds of his stomach & chest and sinuses to no avail...Any help would surely be appreciated since my husband is slipping into a deep depression because of all thats been happening with him....Thanks and hope to hear from someone soon with some answers....
