About 3 months ago I started getting these bumps on the top of my right foot, I thought something had bit me but then a month later they got worse. Still only on one foot. Went to the doctor and he said he thought they were ganglion cysts. They are getting worse though and don't look like the pictures of other ganglion cysts I have seen they look purplish reddish in color almost bruised looking and some are bumps and others are circlular with an indent in the middle. They are starting to make my leg hurt if I wear high shoes. Has anyone ever had this before? I am scared I have cancer but my doctor did not seemed concered.

Did you see a dermatologist or your primary care physician? A dermatologist would know the difference between cancer and cysts. Did your doctor tell you how to get rid of the cysts?

See a dermatologist if the doctor that looked at them wasn't. I had a recurring spot on my nose and my PCP looked at it and that if it went away then it was nothing. When I had my annual appointment with my dermatologist he did a biopsy, but he didn't think that it was cancer. The biopsy came back BCC. I had it removed last month and am now nurturing my new skin graft.

That is a good idea I will go see a dermatoligist. My knee is starting to hurt now, I hope whatever it is is not going up my leg!
