I have a few questions. I exercise daily for the last 6 months on the treadmill..After 6 months of doing this daily, i was on my start up pace and got really dizzy, shaky, and felt like i wsa going to vomit and have to lie down. I have been shaky, etc before, but that is when I dont eat. I had already eaten an hour before! Does this sound like anything to anyone? I have gone to the gp and expect results on Tuesday but I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this and if it is a sign of diabetes or hypoglycemia. Thanks for your help! I am a little worried becasue normally the doc sends a paper inthe mail that says you are fine or whatever and this time his nurse called because she said i needed an appointment!

It sounds like you haven't actually been diagnosed yet, so you probably don't have a glucometer already to measure your blood sugar when this happens. There are other health conditions that can cause the shakiness and dizziness when exercising, so perhaps it would be best if you just eased back on the exercise until you know what's really going on. If those feelings are relieved by taking something sweet, like juice or regular soda, it could be hypoglycemia. Good luck.

Thank you for responding to my post. Tomorrow I will find out for sure and I will definitely let you know what happens. I have not tried the soda drink thing or whatever, i just stop what i am doing.
