Filling in my upper fifth right tooth fell out some time ago and it is cavity there now and the tooth itself is partialy broken. I'm also convinced that there is an absces under my fourth tooth, which itself looks O.K. I decided to pull out the fifth tooth and then think about forth one. But it is my first time! Any experience with this tooth? Hard? Anyone has done it without injection? And...anyone...has done it - by himself? Only serious answers and only experience please, because theory can be found anywhere.

I think you are talking about one of your premolars. I have extracted few of them before. The main aspect of this would be getting proper and profound anesthesia. The first couple of injection should sting for less than a second, but after that you should have no problems. After the extractions you will be a little sore and tender in the area for a few days, you should reach the peak in 2-3 days. Soft foods for a few days, be gentle brushing the area. The main thing is no smoking, straws, or strenous activity for about 4 days, anthing that creates a negative pressure in your mouth; you don't want a dry socket. I don't think you'll experience any problems. :) i know it's easy for me to say. Good luck, you'll be allright.

Thank you for encourage me about injections.
And I"ve heard an interesting solution for exscessive bleeding after tooth removal: you can roll and put a tea-bag (partly moisted) in the cavity and the tanine from the tea helps to stop bleading.
