Hi all,

Just curious...does anyone know if we lucky MS sufferers entitled to a financial break on our air conditioning bill? :)

I think if you get your MD to write a prescription stating that you need ac for a medical condition, you can count it as a medical expense and may be able to deduct it from your taxes. I could be wrong, I'm no accountant, but I heard that somewhere.

Yes in Canada if your MD wrires a script up to $1,000.00 tax credit is available on central air conditioning .You need to go to the federal gov's disability site, sorry I do not have the link handy as my drive was infected and I lost all my links I will find it and post it as soon as I get back in , I know its available as we put a new furnace in last year and were considering the A.C. .
