Have been too chicken to have surgery so far so I
am trying some of the less invasive things till I
get up my courage for a face lift.
I have had my third microdermabrasion treatment and
am very well satisfied with the results and still have
a few treatments to go.
My skin is smoother than it has been in years - I
don't need moisturizers or night creams, etc anymore. My makeup goes on so much easier. I think it is softening the lines around my nose and mouth.
My skin has a kind of shine but I think that is a good
thing - better than the dryskin look.
I don't find it uncomfortable at all to get a treatment
but I may have a higher pain level than most for that
sort of thing. My friend just went for her first
treatment and she thought it stung quite a bit.
I can really recommend it.

I have had about 3 l/2 treatments so far. I say l/2
because the first treatment she did the
microdermabrasion without a peel. I am also using
Renova with the treatments. So far, I am very
well pleased. I feel my skin is much better. I
don't know how many treatments I will have to have.
I get one treatment a month. I am still peeling a
little from the last treatment but not bad.

Is microdermabrasion the same as diamond dermabrasion?
If so (or if you have experienced diamond dermabrasion) how effective is this for removal of pigmentation, open pores, fine wrinkles etc? thanks.

Hello didgy -
I would love to know what type of microdermabrasion you are currently undergoing?
Thank you,
Kandi

Hi: You know I am not really sure. I know they use
the dermabrasion tool and then they apply a peel.
The system my doctor uses is called the Parsian Peel.
I checked it out on the Yes They are Fake board and
it was one of several recommended. I have not been
able to keep my last two appointments because of an
illness in my family. I really miss them and can
certainly tell a difference in my skin.
