Hi,

I was prescribed Stratera today, for my adult ADD. I have only had a chance to briefly read about it on these boards. It seems like people taking it are ADHD. I definitely DON'T have the H, and am about as far from hyper as one could get. I just want to do some research before I start this drug. Part of me questions whether this dr has prescribed the right drug for me.... Always paranoid when it comes to meds. I don't like them, but am willing to try at this point.

I was diagnosed several years ago with ADD. Iwas afraid for years to try meds. Finally 6 months ago I decided to try them. The doc gave me Stratterra. I have ADD. I have no hyperactivity. My friends say I am very mellow and laid back . But I am totally ADD. If your doc thinks Strattera is right,go for it. Strattera has definately helped me. Hopes this helps.
