Oh yeah! Use it before bed. There are alot of good brands out there but I only have the experience with Natragest. Those hormones off balance will definitely give u insomnia, been there and still go through periods of it.

I started taking progesterone cream 2 years ago, went into menopause 16 months ago, and never had a single problem. I take a pearl sized amount AM and PM. If you apply it to your temples, it will help a headache. I put it there one night when I couldn't fall asleep (extra, on top of the usual dose) and went right to sleep. I love it.

I use Emerita Pro-Gest upon recommendation of a doctor. I initially bought a more generic one, but found the progesterone content wasn't as strong. There are other good ones, but this one seems to work just fine for me. It's also less expensive if you go to a discount online vitamin store, than if you buy it off the shelf.

Oh Good! I have some of the Emerita. So you don't measure you just use a pearl sized amount? I will try it that way after this cycle starts. I went off of it this month because I wanted to try just doing vitamins, herbs and eating right . But I am getting some symptoms back, nothing major, but feel I could use a little of the cream. Do you take anything else besides the cream? Have you heard of the Revival shakes?

You know I should drink the revival shakes, yes I have heard they were good also. I am so allergic to milk, i wonder if the soy would upset my stomach also? Maybe I should begin the progesterone creme again.

If you have thyroid problems, or think you might, be careful of soy products. Unfortunately, in middle aged women, symptoms are similar. Soy can be a bad addition in those with an iffy thyroid.
