OK Ladies--Let's everyone put their two cents in as to what the best undereye concealer is, regardless of price. I have tried everything (I think :) ) and have yet to find something wonderful. Any thoughts?

I sometimes get very dark undereye circles and I admit I haven't experimented a whole lot with undereye concealers but the phyicians formula brand works pretty good. You just have to make sure to go over it w/powder or else it will stay yellow ;) It is not that expensive either, they sell them practically everywhere and cost under $5

Check ebay - they have some fairly expensive one (I can't think of the name of it) that is excellent and lasts forever (the tube lasts forever). It's some french name - supposedly, a lot of movie stars wear it.

I've been using Lancome's luminesque in light buff. It comes in a pot and is a creme to powder formula. It's excellent and does not cake. Looks very natural. It also lasts a long time, so the price is worth it.

I have major undereye circles--purple and indented, and the only thing I've ever found to have worked is Bare Escentuals BareMinerals Bisque. It comes with a brush that fits perfectly in that indented area! It's $23 without the shipping and handling.

I used to have that problem BADLY. I used the cheap drugstore concealers and they looked awful. You know, the "skin color" ones that never match your skin.

I can't give advice unless I know what kind of skin you have??? Is is thin and delicate or fairly thick? Freckly or smooth? What color are your eye circles? How much makeup do you wear every day? Are your eye circles sunken or puffy?

When I bother with makeup, I start with foundation all over my eye area, underneath and all around, up to my eyebrows. Sometimes I use a somewhat lighter foundation, sometimes the same one as the rest of my face. Then I use a shimmery neutral highlighter all over my eyelid and up to my brows. THEN I put on eye shadow & mascara, just a teeny bit on my upper eyelid. This is time-consuming but very effective and natural-looking on my skin (I'm fair/medium, with very thin, delicate skin with some freckles, so I like sheer coverage - if I used a heavy concealer i'd look fake.)

I've used Physician's Formula before and liked the light green concealer - it concealed the "bruised" look and you didn't need a whole lot.

I like Prescriptives Traceless Concealer a lot. It's very creamy and turns into a powdery finish when you put it on. It covers my everyday circles pretty well with only one coat. For those days where I haven't slept enough and my circles are much darker, it takes a little more concealer. It never looks cakey or makeup-y though.
