Hey, I just went to the doctor due to having pain in my lower back and hip area. He did an xray and told me that l-5 had collapsed and nothing could be done to help it except pain meds and therapy. Has anyone else been told this? I am already on alot of medication and cannot take anti inflammatories. What can I do to ease the pain? I have just recovered from thryroid cancer and 2 thryrod surgeries and now I find out this has happened. I just started trying to work 10 hrs wk and now the pain in my back is so bad I can't do that. What do I need to do to try for disability, I am already on 11 medications and I don't see how I can function anymore with more meds and this pain. This makes 7 mths I have been out of work already. Could someone please give me some advise... Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated...
