I'm missing the tooth next to my front tooth and I am getting braces put on to make space for an implant. My orthodontist uses a retainer w/ a fake tooth in it to fill the gap along with my braces. It's really irritating having a retainer and braces.

He has not given me any other options, but what can i use to fill that space for the next 3 months without it having to a be a retainer?? He says this is the only "logical" option... but i know there are some more out there, so does anyone have any opinions/answers?? Thanks
