Does anyone know how to use these things? I'm obviously doing something wrong b/c the reading can change by 500 g' in 30 secs. I step on barefoot with dry feet every time. I know how to program the thing, so I know the electronics are correct. Am I somehow stepping up wrong? It's making me insane!

tsr,

These things are junky gimmicks designed to sell everybody a new scale. They are EXTREMELY sensitive to the moisture ON your feet and little else.
The really AWFUL ones are just taking your weight and adjusting for height and age (why ELSE would you have to input these things if they could actually "read" bodyfat)...the "electical resistance" doodads are just for show. Try adjusting your height...taller makes you IMMEDIATELY leaner.:D:D
There are internet tables that do the same thing BETTER...at least they have you measure your wrist.

Take the scale back, I did...THREE TIMES!
