i have a recurring yeast infection for (vaginal too) about 3 mos. now. it is now surfacing around my eyes and ears. i have bought a product called "yeast away" and have have spent a small fortune on all kinds of creams. I guess i have no resort but to go to a doctor. I have not been to one for 14 years so reluctant now.
anyone else experience this?
thanks Dyana

If you have not been to a doctor in 14 years, rather than continue to self-treat, it is really important that you get evalutated since yeast infections or any infection that does not clear up quickly could be a sign of other disorders. Only a doctor can determine this for you. Do schedule an appointment and I hope you feel better.

Go to the "Alternative" forums on this site and click on the "candida" posts. There is a lot of personal info on people who have this and what they have done to treat it.

Yeast overgrowth can be eliminated with the right diet and herbs. Dr.'s might just give you an antibiotic ,which in my opinion does not cure the cause. But if you haven't gone to a Dr. in many years you may want to check it out anyway. Could be the product of something else going on in your body.

Not to equate you or anyone with an animal but my dog ( and a mammal like us) has yeast in her eyes and ears. Turns out she has strep and it now getting weekly shots for 12 weeks and taking herbs to eliminate it. My vet is a holistic vet.

You do not want this growth to spread in your eyes and ears, could be potentially dangerous.

You should, at the least, get tested for diabetes.

Please go to a doc and do not suffer! You are worth it.
