What are some of your favorite scents and why? What are some of your least favorite and why?
I have several giftcards to Bath and Body Works and I would like to get something romantic and girly.
I would also like to get something that is flirty, fun, and energizing.
What do you all like? What do you get compliments on? Insults about?
I will go ahead and say that I do not like Warm Vanilla Sugar---I hope I don't get banned for saying this, and pelase don't take it wrong, but I think it smells too much like female genitals (i am female). Hah, you all will never look at that the same way again, will you?

I love almost all of their scents.
Lime Verbena smells too much like a man's shaving cream.
For a romantic, girly smell, try Sweet Pea. They have two delicious scents out for Summer: Pina Colada and Daquiri. They are both wonderful.

I hate Cucumber Melon. I'm so over it! I liked it when I was probably in fourth grade (that was a looong time ago!) and now I don't even want to be near a bottle of it.
However, I like Sheer Freesia for a fresh, floral scent. It smells a lot like Ralph Lauren Cool. White Tea and Ginger is also a good one, but I don't know if I would wear it as a perfume... I use the body cream instead. Mango Mandarin is lovely if you like citrus smells.
Oh man, just one more thing- Tutti Dolci lip glosses are heavenly! I love Cinnamon Frosting... I got it for the gorgeous golden color, but it also smells awesome.

I second Sweet Pea. It's a great scent. I don't even know if they carry Juniper Breeze anymore, but ick, I always hated that one.

I love green clover and aloe (its by far my favorite because its so light), raspberry vanilla (it smells nothing like the warm vanilla sugar, which by the way seems to be a favorite among many of the men I know, including my dh -when the women wear it of course) and country apple. So far it seems to be a favorite here, but I do not sweet pea or cotton blossom. I also love the lavendar vanilla scent from the aromatherapy collection.

but i REALLY love moonlit path (i think thats what its called.) its very romantic. i've had tons of compliments on it - mostly from men. :)

i would have to agree w moonlite path....it smells sop good but isnt overbearing. sweet pea is also good and so is black raspberry vanilla. also you know if you dont want lotions you can get a variety of hai products that they came out with or candles and airfreshners are awesome too.

I love the Tuti Dulci stuff....the sugar wafer scent is my fave as well as the lip glosses. Awesome. They are having a huge sale now too.

I don't have any of the BBW products but I have smelled Cherry Blossom on friends and I've sampled it in the store. Nice fragrance! One that I will try when I need more fragrance and body lotion.

I sniffed a sample of the daquiri-scented lotion, and think I inhaled it because it's all I could smell for most of the night! :( I definitely don't like that one, even though it's popular at our store. Cotton Blossom has always been one of my favorites. Water Blossom Ivy is probably my most favorite, though I think it's been discontinued. I also love lavender vanilla - I got a gift set of that a few years ago, but lost the lotion. :( I'm not fond of Sweet Pea - it's just too sugary sweet, IMO. I prefer clean, airy scents.

I really dislike that classic Raspberry scent (forget the name...Sun Kissed Raspberry...is that it?). I was a building inspector for a long time and I did a lot of work in public school buildings. I swear, everytime I walked into a high school girls' locker room, the place reeked of sweaty gym suits and BBW Raspberry. I used to like that scent before everyone wore it.

Gayle.. That cracks me up... it is 'Sun Ripened Rasperry" and I used it NON STOP at my senior week w-a-y back in High School. Now I smell it and it reminds me of just how much rum i drank that week and makes me a bit sick :-) funny how smells do that to us!
As for my suggestion, I LOVE the Coconut Lime Verbeena and any of the Tutti Dolce esp. the lip gloss. It's hard to suggest lotion scents for people though, you really just have to go in and smell all of them.

That is funny about how smells can remind you of things. Whenever I smell Beautiful I feel like I am going to throw up because I wore it in my first trimester when I was sick as a dog!!! That baby is now almost 12!!!

well its semi annual sale at bath and body works and all there discontinued scents came out! i have complaint: i wish coco cabana wasnt discontinued. i love the coconut tropical smell

I just bought everything in Moonlight Path. I love that scent. There's a Cotton something or other (Cotton Breeze, maybe?) that smells similar that I like.
I bought the lotion, body spray, body wash, bubble bath, a candle, a room spray, one of those plug in room scents, and more. Gotta love their 75% off sale....

Freesia - Soapy floral fresh scent. In the blue package (Only available during the semi-annual sale)
Night Blooming Jasmine - Sensual fresh floral, very feminine
Eucalyptus Spearmint (Aromatherapy line) - Clean fresh scent (a little masculine, but still nice)
Cotton Blossom (shower gel and foaming hand soap only!) Very clean fresh scent
Vanilla Bean Noel (body cream only!) Just like fresh baked sugar cookies. (Only available during the holidays).
Favorite candle:
Henri Bendel's Vanilla Bean - So sensuous. Pure Vanilla(non foody type) with a touch of Patchouli. To die for!

Does anyone know if B&BW still carries the White Tea Line Prevention Serum? I love that stuff - I don't like Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden, but love the White Tea scent. I got a bottle of it for $15 I think, and got two bonus tubes in a cute travel bag. I'm about out, so I hope they still have it - I know B&BW discontinues stuff like crazy...

I have to agree with the Moonlight Path everyone has mentioned-it is the best-smelling stuff ever!It is very powdery-clean smelling-like nothing else. Except that wal-mart has a knock-off that smells exactly the same for anyone who is interested. ;)
