Ok, I just got it done and now I'm back at home. What I am wondering now is when will I sorta be able to see how much good it did? I know that today he "burned" off the top layers, but doesnt the real improvement come like over the next week or two when the new skin grows back? Please give me any input you have! b/c right now the skin, besides being red and swollen, looks pretty much how it did before. Thanks so much.

My hubby has had laser surgery twice. The latest one was the best, but it has taken 4 months of healing to show an improvement. Unfortunately, in his case the result has not been as good as, he hoped. Some days his skin looks really bad - some days good.
The worst thing about the surgery has to be the first couple of days, as your skin looks REALLY GOOD because of the swelling, but unfortunately no one tells you it will deteriorate after the swelling goes down. Moreover, the problem is that you tend to remember how good your skin looked in the early post op days rather than prior surgery.

Are you happy with the results then? I am having Erbium resurfacing Monday and am very nervous. Have you had improvement or anything bad as a reult of treatment? Was it worth it?
