Oh spooman, I feel so sorry for you. I really hope things will work out for you. Have you tried contacting any surgeons in the UK (where it is practised a lot) about possible corrective surgery?
Thank you for sharing your experience it is very noble of you, especially to prevent others from making the same mistake as you. You are very kind and I hope that the counselling you are receiving for your depression helps.
I think you should name and shame the surgeon though. Surgeons are so fortunate in that we have hardly any readdress when things go wrong. We pay up front and sign forms that don't guarantee the results - how do they get away with it? It makes me so mad! Any other business would go skint if they kept messing up. The only way we can hope to help others and send these so called surgeons out of business is to name them and shame them.
