This is really really painful. Got 2 shots of lidocaine in the side of my head 2 weeks ago. Taking Valium, Prednizone, Percocette, Trazadone and Tylenol. Got the mouthguard too. The pain in the ear is starting again. I have a doctor here in Raleigh that specializes in TMJ. I guess I'll have to give him another call.

I'm sorry you are suffering like the rest of us. What was the lidocaine suppose to do? Did your TMJ Dr. give them? Have you has splints etc. I'm new to this board and have been trying to find out what different types of TMJ people have and how they have remedied them. If you don't mind sharing your case, I'd like to hear about it.
