i keep hearing about second surgeries being necessary after the first
is this normal? should I expect this? also, i am considering the chin implant - any others who have had similar operations please feel free to respond with advice/experiences/regrets/suggestions/anything that you feel would be helpful to someone in my position who is currently considering both surgeries
btw, i have a consulation already with a doctor - one from my state, indiana - indianapolis - board certified - not a big well known doc like the names I see thrown around here but i am hoping that is not an issue and that he will be a good choice nonetheless - how many here have just gone to docs from there areas and came out with satisfied results?
okay that's enough - any responses appreciated!

Hi there!
I have had my nose done when I was 15 for the first time back in 1987....and I HAD to have another surgery do to the fact that they didn't take out enough cartilage the first time.
It's quite common to go back for a second surgery to perfect things.....unfortunately, I had to go back a 3rd and 4th time due to an accident at a water park in northern New Jersey......
But yes, it's quite common to have another surgery after the first one.
If your that concerned with not having a second surgery, just ask the doctor what are the chances of having to have another one........also, maybe if you can call some of his former clients and see what they had done.
It's worth a shot.
