I have been thru menopause for several years now. Take a natural progesterone cream. My mother had breast cancer so I absolutely will not take HRT. Anyway, I've done pretty good and rarely have hot flashes anymore. BUT now that the weather is exceptionally HUMID where I live in the last month or two, I am having hot flashes at all times of day or night. It is driving me crazy. Does anyone know if the humidity can cause them to ramp up again?? I didn't have a problem last summer, but maybe it wasn't as humid. These flashes are the worst I've ever had. Anyway, are there any herbs that anyone knows of that might help. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Oh goodness don't tell me this ... several years of it? .... I have just started and the hot flashes are really getting me down ... I keep assuring myself they will be gone within a year ... rushed out today and bought some natural stuff for menopause ... so I wonder how long we are inflicted with this for then  ... I was so sure after menopause it all stopped ... I thought it only happened in the peri menopause stage :(
