I have a question about supplements. I take two Omega 3,6,9 capsules a day and am wondering if I should be factoring in the supps. as calories? Is this a silly question? I am just curious as the capsules are oils, and I know flax seed oil (even though I am taking a combination of oils) contains quite a bit of calories in a teeny, weeny tablespoon.

That's a very valid question. Omegas are in EFAs (Essential Fatty Acids) which, while necessary nutrients, do come in the form of fat. All oils and fats have 9 calories per gram. If the supplement you're taking is in capsule form, chances are it's not more than 1 gram of oil in each. So it's not really a lot, but just something to consider. If it's in liquid form, then you're probably taking more volume wise. 1 Tbsp of oil has about 120 calories which definitely would need to be considered for your daily calories.
