Hello, I am 28 years old and have a congenital deformity called Poland Syndrome. I am missing the Pectoralis Major muscle on the right side of my chest leaving me with a very underdeveloped right breast. Normal nipple, but no fat or muscle. I met with a plastic surgeon today who is experienced with this deformity and he says he can fix it by using the Lattimus Dorsi muscle from my back to create the muscle and using an implant to fill in the breast. Anyone else have this and had it corrected? What about insurance paying for it? Any responses would be appreciated.

Here is Nelly, I am a new member and I am searching for the best help of my grandson 12 weeks old diagnosed Moebius and Poland's Syndrome. His left hand is under developped meaning smaller than a normal arm and shorter and the hand has got a thumb and nothing else. My question is if your plastic surgery was a success and does this surgeant only deal with breast disformations? I would appreciate your help. Kind Regards
Nelly
