I've been having problems with TMJ for a couple years now. It has recently become extremely painful though. It tends to dislocate when I yawn, and it is so stiff I can barely move my jaw to talk or eat. It is becoming seriously debilitating. The pressure in the sides of my head are so bad that it feels like my head might explode, and the pain is horrible. :o

Does anyone know a good way to treat the symptoms of TMJ? I really need some help. This has been going on for two weeks and is messing up my life. Please help me! Thanks!!!

Ok. You need togo and see an ortho A.S.A.P. I have the EXACT same problem. Everytime it opens it dislocates. My guess is ifit is that bad of a problem they willfit youforamouth splint, and that shall help the problem.
