I took antibiotics for 4 days. I stopped taking them 8 days ago. Is it safe to say that the 7 day rule applies to antibiotics? I was never sure about this. Like yesterday would have been 7 days since i took my LAST antibiotic. So is it safe to assume my pill wasn't effected anymore?

Not all antibiotics even affect the pill (in fact, there is no hard evidence that any antibiotic affects the pill). What antibiotic were you taking? Most of the new antibiotics have no affect on the pill at all.

Anyway, if you were taking an antibiotic that does affect the pill, a conservative abstain/use back up time is 7 days after taking the last antibiotic. However, waiting longer isn't going to hurt.
