First of all, this is my first post...so hi! :)
I'm 18 years old, and I've recently lost weight (30lbs-I'm now 125lbs). I feel really good about my body, but the weight loss has caused my breasts to sag really badly. I've tried lots of exercises that are supposed to help tone them, but they're so bad that nothing really makes any difference.
It's very uncomfortable, as I can see that they're saggy when wearing certain clothes, and I feel very self-conscious about it. So much so that I'm very seriously considering getting an uplift. I'm a bit scared about it though, so I'm hoping that someone might be able to answer a few questions for me:
1. How much (on average) does it cost? I've looked around on lots of cosmetic surgery sites, and they never seem to give prices. The ones that have were in dollars and that's no good since I'm in the UK.
2. Is there extreme pain, and how risky is the anesthetic and/or the chances of something going wrong after the surgery?
3. Is it possible to have a reduction of the areola at the same time as the uplift?
4. I've read that most women are advised to wait until they've had children before having an uplift. I've always planned to adopt rather than getting pregnant, so I'm not worried about that side of it, but are surgeons likely to be willing to do the surgery being that I'm younger and don't have children?
As you can probably tell, I have a lot of research to do, so I'm sorry for sounding kind of ignorant about the whole thing. But I'd really appreciate any replies/advice. Thanks. :)

Hardcandy.....I have been posting ALOT about breast reductions...and I am only 18 years old and had it done in December. Not only did I have a reduction, but they also do the lift in the process...in fact they do a reduction the same way as a lift ( as far as incisions go) I know that they HAD to change the shape of my areolas to better suit my new breasts, and I am SURE they would have to do it for the lift as well. If you read in my other posts I would tell you that the pain factor was VERY small for me---I didn't take any pain medication at all....in fact, it was just more uncomfortable..and as far as risks involved, it is the same as any other surgery as far as anethesia goes. I had no problems at all, except feeling a little sick after the surgery. I love my breasts now, I do not even have to wear a bra!!! Plus the doctor shaped them so perfectly as well. You have to remember that you will have extensive scarring from this surgery so if that would bother you, dont' do it. But the PROS far outweigh the cons, in fact I can't think of anythign negative from it! So, if you have anymore questions just ask. I know my surgery was about 6,000 but my insurance covered it. Good luck!!!

You really ought to do a search (Google?) on this subject. There are boards out there that specifically address this surgery. Good Luck.
