View Full Version : Caloric intake on days "off" from working out

I'm sorry if this is obvious to everyone else but me, but I'm gonna ask anyway! Should I be eating less on my days off from the gym since I'm not working out? If I've had a really hard workout, I try to eat (what I think) is enough to fuel my body for the work that it did...so it only makes sense to eat less when I don't work out. Anybody have thoughts/opinions on this? Thanks to all in advance. :D

On rest days I usually consume somewhat less carbs which means excluding post-workout carbs from the daily diet. This means approx. 100 grams carbs. But I consume the same amount of proteins every day irrespective of training or not.
