I have been on warfarin for 4 years. I am suppose to be on it for life. This is to treat the condition of thrombophilia - i.e leiden factor v and psd. Has anybody experienced a lowering of immunity whilst on warfarin? I have never had so many infections which take a long time to resolve, even with the use of antibiotics, the most recent being a chronic infection of a tooth socket. I hope to have this investigated by my haematologist via the specialist nurse. I shall keep you all posted on the results. Meanwhile any feed-back would be appreciated. :confused:
