i was on estrostep for 4 months & each month i would start breakthrough bleeding on day 8 of the pack. this month i switched to ovcon-35. yesterday was day 8 & i went to bed last night so happy because i made it through the day with no bleeding! well, i should have known better because this morning i started cramping & then the bleeding started...just my luck!

i know it takes time to adjust, but does anyone know why this keeps happening to me at the same time every month? i'm getting so incredibly frustrated! i thought it was maybe the different levels of hormones in the estrostep but this new pill is a monophasic pill. could it be the actual hormones? ovcon has the same kind of hormones as estrostep...just different amounts. do you think maybe i need a pill with a different kind of estrogen or something? i dont know...i'm just so upset. last month the bleeding lasted 10 days. i dont want to go through that again. if i call my gyn, her secretary is just going to tell me that i have to give it 3 months...not what i want to hear right now! can anyone help me understand why my body just refuses to adjust? :(
