I was diagnosed with under active thyroid 2 years ago. I was 126-128 pnds then. Now Im 116 pnds without trying to lose weight. Do you think its the medication (synthroid) that is speeding up my metabolism and that is why? Im a little scared as to why I am losing weight.
Another note, I do not eat correctly, sometimes going unit 2:00 without eating a single thing. But I have always done that even when I was 126 pnds.
But then my head starts thinking cancer or something along those lines. Yikes

Thanks for the advise, my only problem is that Im just not hungry in the morning and find it hard to eat when Im not hungry. I usually start feeling hungry about 12:00 in the afternoon. Then i will usually have a sandwich or something like that. If I eat a fairly big lunch I dont eat dinner because Im just not hungry.
Like once a day I like to eat and I know thats just not good.

I wouldn't worry about your weight loss, you are not underweight for your height yet. It sounds like the reason your losing weight is because your not eating enough. I would try what the other poster said. Small meals every few hours. A small meal could be a 4 oz yogurt, a handful of nuts, some fruit or a scoop of cottage cheese. Don't think a meal has to be this huge thing. Its important to eat every few hours whether you want to lose weight or not, just to keep up your energy levels.

Thank you all. Sounds very logical to eat small meals and snacks. I'll try but it will be hard to eat when Im not hungry. Dont get me wrong something like ice cream or chocolate I wouldn't have a problem, theres always room for that!
