Hi there. Does anyone ever get a strange sensation in their mouth when they have an anxiety attack? I asked this on the panic boards too. I think im suffering from anxiety/panic attacks after having problems with my thyroid for a while. I get adrenaline rush feelings/panicky/feel like im going to die..... but this feeling in my mouth is like the same as the adrenaline feelings, but in my mouth. I know, sounds very strange, and Im having a hard time describing it, but it drives me mad!!!
Just wondering if im alone in this

Can you describe the sensation better? I might be able to relate.

I wish i could describe it better! It really is just like an adrenaline rush in my mouth! Its kind of like my tongue feels funny, thick almost, I dont know, it doesnt really tingle or burn or anything, its jsut that rushy feeling that i feel elsewhere in my body too. Kind of like the feeling when you are about to be sick, but I dont feel sick. Its really wierd, and makes me feel uncomfortable, as if something bad is going to happen.
