I just had to share my "lack of estrogen" moment with you ladies.

I called my dh today on my cellphone right around the same time that my house phone began ringing...since I was having one of those irritable, angry for no reason, queasy stomach moments I began snapping at my dd & ds to "PLEASE GET THAT PHONE!!!". My son runs to get the phone, before the fourth ring, and says hello. Guess who was on the other line? ME :D :D :o . I had dialed my house instead of my husband's phone number.

Today my brain has truly been in the fog, because earlier today, on my way home from running several errand with my son, I drove right pass the street to my house. I was startled and shocked back out of the fog when my son asked me where was I going. For a split second I wondered where did I make a wrong turn and where was I !

Lack of estrogen and hypoglycemia do not mix well :D !

Keep on laughing ladies!

Thanks for sharing a little snicker today. :)

Sounds like the time I put the handset to our cordless in the fridge and couldn't find it!

Like the others, thanks for the laugh and I have done the exact same thing along with many, many more crazy things. We have to laugh at ourselves or else we would be extremely upset with the state of our brains during this stage.

Thanks everyone for helping me to not feel alone.

Would anyone else like to share some of their most memorable estrogen deficient moment?

I haven't visited here in a while (too busy trying to wade thru my brain fog), but I've got a wonderful one for you all...

I work at a funeral home for starters, so picture a sedate two-piece black suit, etc.
AND the fact that I have 4 cats.... So - the LAST thing i would put on every day was my skirt so that I wouldn't get to work covered with cat hair..

One day I arrive at work and start unbuttoning my coat as I get in the front door and start down the hall. There's the jacket, the shoes, the hose, the black slip...
AND NO SKIRT!!
I was mortified! (no pun intended!)
They still laugh about it a year later!!

Thanks, this thread is too much fun to drop out of sight, here's one courtesy of my next-oldest sister...

She is 53 and somewhere close to finishing up perimenopause.
She got to her job (librarian) and realized that - -
her blouse was in inside out.

And just so you realize that my family is definitely "clothing challenged" -
I had 10 days in a row where I would put on my jeans after work and realize hours later that I was unzipped!!!!
