yes i feel it worse in the summer. I cannot stand the heat and sitting in the sun makes things worse also. I actually feel like I am going to pass out when a cloud passes infront of the sun. It feels like I am blacking out. I actually like the winter. the cool fresh air brings me relief. I guess if you are inside alot in the winter that could give you the blues. I also have to keep the windows open in the winter too.

i have anxiety and i find that the sun's rays relaxes me. however i dont like the cold. it has been said that the sun promotes serotonine(i think thats it) in our brains and this is what makes us happy. If you are on anti depressants- that is what they usually try to promote in your brain. I've prbably confused you more now, sorry. Maybe if you embrace the warmth of the sun instead of fearing it, that would help.

It sounds like you have seasonal depression disorder. It is very common. It just changes with the seasons, nothing to really worry about, just be prepared whenever you know winter is coming around.

Good luck, and no worries!

this may be much different, but the long mississippi summers here are stiffling hot and humid, and that bothers me. i need it cool in my home year round almost. i believe it plays a small role in how i deal with my anxiety attacks and may even prevent the lesser ones. i can also rest better. hope you find a solution soon.does the uk have the same drugs we do?
