My 20.5 month old DS drools constantly. It's not a new thing either, he has always drooled like this. He had all of his teeth in by 12 months, except for the 2 yr molars. I just keep thinking he is teething, but we have not had a tooth in over 7 months! Still there is always tons of drool. He has the whole wet shirt thing going on all of the time. When will this end, or is there a prob. I should be worried about?

Don't feel bad, my son is 26 months and is still the king of drool! Wet shirt all the time. Sometimes it's a little embarassing :) I asked his doc at his 2 yr appointment and he said it was nothing, that some kids just drool a lot for a long time. He assured me that it would stop. He wasn't going to be worried about it until he turned 3. So, on we will go, drooling all the way!!

Mad Maz welcome to the boards. I have no idea what tonsils are supposed to look like, I don't have any. :D I will have his ped. look during our next appointment too make sure they are not too big. She has looked into is throat before and not said anything though.

I have a 5 year old dd that drools to.what I was told is that they have poor mucle tone in thier mouth and sometimes they out grow it however if they don't you can get some meds to help dry up the mouth. I'm learning about this so if I hear any more I'll post the info I get. gl
