I only ever developed one breast and it now causes me a lot of discomfort, not to mention embarrassment. No-one can tell me why it happened, if it happens to other women or if there is an option other than surgery which I will have to wait up to 2 years for. Anyone out there with experience of this?!!!

I also developed one breast. My right breast is very underdeveloped. I have a condition called Poland Syndrome. I am missing the Pectoral major muscle on that side. I don't know of any other way of fixing it except for surgery. I just went to a consultation with a plastic surgeon and he is going to move my Lattimus Dorsi muscle from my back and swing it to the front to create the missing muscle and then put in an implant. I am requesting that insurance pays to have both sides done to create symmetry. Go to a plastic surgeon and see if that is what you have. Maybe it could help you to get surgery faster than two years. Thanks. Have managed to get appointment with surgeon next month so will ask him about the syndrome. Glad to know that I'm not the only one. Ps. Do you have any kind of insert to make bra-wearing more comfortable?

What about breast implants? They can do wonders for uneven breasts. They just put more CC's in the underdeveloped breast. Just a thought!

If you mean a fake breast to put in your bra, I bought one online at bodyillusions.com the enhancers are called PALS. I think that is the address. Or you can search the web type in Pals breast enhancers. I hope this helps.

I will be 18 in two months and I seem to have only one breast also. I am a size 32A on my left side but on the right side there is nothing..i mean it looks like a 3 year olds chest..i have a small nipple but no breast and i was just wondering what causes such disformty and what I can do about it?
