Hello all! I'm new to the board. I recently applied for a life insurance policy. I was given a ora-quick HIV test. At this point in time, I am losing my mind. The results have not came back yet. Hopefully sometime in the next week or so, I will recieve them. At the current, It is not a good time for me. I'm constantly re-living my past. There have only been 4 times where I have slept with someone unprotected in my entire life. But, at this point it seems like 4 too many!!!!! I would like to ask everyone on here to say a prayer for me please. No one else knows of my sorrow, So it's all being played numerous times throughout my mind. Thanks All!!!!!!!

Hey, we are all praying for you, and we all know exactly what you are going through I promise, I am going through it myself right now, and everybody on here has been through it too. You will be fine, worrying will not help anything!Easier said than done but hold on and take it as it comes. Thinking of you.

Well, you got the hard part over with! If it comes out negative, which it most likely will, then at least you have learned your lesson. If it's positive, just remember that med's and technology have are amazing, and people are living 20-30 yrs longer then they have when HIV was first discovered. You'll probably be fine...just remember, we're all here for you!!!
