Hi, I'm new I was just wondering if anyone has had a stent removed. and still had severe pain in the kidney area afterwards for 3 days and very nauseated and chills and low grade fever? My fiance took the stents out Saturday after noon and today is Tuesday still in alot of pain. Any advise needed. :confused Sorry forgot to tell you i had kidney stones 2 on the left side and 3 on the right.

I had a stent once and the Urologist gave me antibiotics to take afterwards to prevent infection. Your symptoms sound like you may have an infection. Did you call the Dr. to let him know?

Thanks, yes i called them they gave me a few more days of antibiotics and it got better. When your stents came out did you get alot of spasms?
