Hello board. Question about my PET scan problem.
My symptoms problems:
I have some health issues of EBV and depression (alittle) THEN
Major electrical accident. Hit with high voltage, burns, etc...
Problems ever since but am not sure if it's a coincidence
Headache, dizziness, naseau, leg weakness
Stress KILLS ME!!!! If I even get a little depressed or stressed out (Like a 1 on scale of 1 to 10) I just become so ill and sick.
I had a PET Scan done which came back abnormal. Is there anything I can do to treat this. I haven't worked in years and may have to go on Social Security. I've already lost everything and am desperate! Please help

Abnormal can mean two things, increased uptake of the radioactive marker or decreased uptake. I'm guessing your PET scan may have shown decreased uptake in an area of the brain related to the electrical current accident? Either way, you should make an appointment with a neurologist who can examine you and your scans and make the appropriate diagnosis.

Thanks for getting back. Yes it was decreased and know I need to explore this further with a neurologist but insurance is an issue. They are denying my claim. Thanks!

With your PET scan as evidence, I'm pretty sure your doctor can make a fairly strong case for you against your insurance company. Good luck.
