I've been on Tri-Sprintec for 5 months, and next month I will be starting Ortho Tri-Cyclen instead. Tri-Sprintec is the generic version of the latter, so I'm assuming there won't be any difference with side effects, etc (I've had none)?

Also! With the pill I am on now, it is set up in 4 rows of 7 pills. The active ones are blue, and the placebos are white. My new pill pack is set up in two circles, the outer circle being the active pills and the inner circle being the placebos (green). I'm not really sure which pill to take first. I read the directions and I'm pretty sure it's the white pill in the outer circle, but now I'm scared because I'm accustomed to taking the white pills as a placebo.. Is this is correct pill?

They're chemically the same thing, so there should be no problems.

You should start with the outer circle. There should either be a "1" or "start here" or something to that effect at the first pill. I remember when I used Ortho Tri, the first pills were white, and the placebos were green.

If it's Ortho Tri-Cyclen, you should have 3 shades of pills during the active week; is this the case?

Starting at noon and going clockwise, the sequence is:

White, Light blue, Dark blue

And then the inner circle of green.

There is an arrow above the first white pill going pointing clockwise as well.

I guess this is a dumb question. I just don't want to mess this up! The Tri-Sprintec made much more sense. :)

Yup, that's what I remember. You'll start the white pills first, the continue clockwise (although I believe you'll turn the dial-pack counter-clockwise to get to the next pill).
