ok I've posted a few times, I guess I'm just always paranoid...Ok so I had sex twice today without a condom and I'm on ortho tri-cyclen lo, I've been doing pretty good with it...but today after the first time we had sex he stayed inside of me for a long time...does that give any chance of making it easier to get pregnant? I know I shouldn't worry because Birth Control was made so you didn't have to use back up...but there is still always that chance that makes you fear! thanks....

As long as you are taking your pill every day around the same time then you have no reason to worry!

I know EXACTLY how you feel 100%. I feel like that every time I have sex. However, I found that if we start without a condom and then he puts one on before he finishes I feel a lot better. Maybe you should try that even if you don't like it. It'll help you feel better. I don't like stopping to put one on either, and I'm sure you don't but honestly you will feel better. Birth control does work like it says it does, but I know how you feel.

having him pull out will give you that extra piece of mind. That way, you don't have to worry about using a condom, and you know the chance of getting pregnant is probably as likely as an immaculate conception, haha!

The pill when taken correctly is around 99.7-99.9% effective. It's meant to be used as a sole means of contraception, so as long as you've taken it correctly, don't worry. :)
