I always tired too - but I'm also the mother of an 11 month old baby boy. --so go figure. Have you looked into chronic fatigue syndrome?

yes, I figured the anxiety is likely the reason for the tiredness but I've calmed down a little and i'm still tired. I guess it just takes a while for your body to get back to normal after having constant anxiety for 6 or 8 weeks. I do have an irritated throat that seems like it doesnt want to heal and its been like that for about a month now. Its not sore, its just irritated like and its a little red left and right of my tonsils.

I am always tired too. I go to bed at 10:00 every night and get up at about 7, but I have a VERY hard time getting up. I also am tired enough to still take naps during the day. Sometimes I think it is probably because of the Xanax I take, but everoyne says that should wear off once your body adjusts. I have been on it for two years so you would think i would be adjusted by now. I don't know, I have always been a low energy person and was tired even before I started taking Xanax. Were you tired before you started having anxiety?

gboro, do you have allergies?? just curious, cause you said your throat was a little irritated...............i have allergies, and when they are acting up, i am really tired. Seems like I can't get enough sleep. Allergies affect everyone different. I don't have the usual symptoms........i get sleepy, lightheaded, foggy headed feeling, and i'm usually congested. Hope you feel better soon.........take care

I've never really had allergies but I guess if you have anxiety bad enough, it can bring your boy down and can trigger allergies even when never really have allergies.

Yeah I'm very prone to fatigue, especially at work. It's like I bounce back and forth from feeling anxious to feeling exhausted...hard to find the middle ground of serenity.

To make it worse whenever I get exhausted I get caffeine cravings, which give me very bad anxiety. Not to mention the crash after the caffeine wears off, sheesh.
