Well, for anyone interested, I thought I'd post.

These were in the "Low" range:
Estradiol <1.0
Progesterone 196.0
Ratio of PG/E2 196.60
Testosterone <2.4
DHEA 70.8

These were in the "Within Range"
Cortisol Morning 22.5, Noon 7.7, Evening 3.3, Night 2.2

The Dr. said that hormones are at their lowest right before your period (which is when the test is done) and these would indicate someone already in menopause. I'm 46 and still have periods, but have been in peri about 6-7 yrs.

She prescribed bioidentical hormone treatment through a compounding pharmacy. One cream will have estrogen and progesterone and one will have DHEA and testosterone.

My peri symptoms have been severe cramping, prolonged PMS, insomnia and in recent years periods close together, insomnia and hot flashes (usually the last 2 right before my period). Just in the past few months, I had episodes of panic attacks and major anxiety, which I've NEVER had in my life. I had heart palps, increased heart rates and various times, chronic insomnia, chest pain/pressure, headaches and major fatigue.

Anyway, I'll post my experience with all this as time goes on. I swear I think I could live with my original peri symptoms, but these anxiety symptoms are getting to me. I hope I'm on the right path.
