Hey everyone...

I haven't been on the boards in awhile.
I've been taking 10mg of Lexapro for a few months now and it's helping a little, but I still have a lot of my anxiety symptoms and some depression. So, my Dr. told me to double my dose and start taking 20mg. I'm a little nervous about doing this. I had horrible side effects when I first started this med and I don't really want to go through all of that again. I was just wondering if any of you have increased your dose of Lexapro and...if so...how you did with it? Did the side effects come back? I was thinking maybe I needed to try a different SSRI, but my Dr. seems to think going to 20mg might help my symptoms.

I say take it at 15 and see how you do then the 20.
My Dr. won't let me go to 20. He said less is always best. I am still having issues with agoraphobia but the depression and anxiety are better.
I have a hard time leaving my city limits. I asked to up but he said he would rather not?
