I have been feeling strange lately. for the last two weeks i have been having nightmares. Not the kind to wake up sweating and crying about, but still very bothersom. I went from not wanting to leave my room, to not wanting to leave my house. To leaving my house and not wanting to go back. I have started staying up, I start to feel wierd and sad at the thought of going to sleep. it's now 3:13 and I should be in bed, the rest of my family is, but I just can face the thought of sleeping. I haven't had any panic attacks, or even anxiety attacks lately. the last one i had was weeks ago. I don't know what to do. I have been have mood swings, i am happy and laughing, then the next i am sad and grumpy. I have been depressed before, and I am scared that i am relapsing. What should I Do? The idea of sleeping actually brings me to near tears.

Are you on any meds? SSri's will cause REM sleep disturbances(vivid dreams); benzodiazepines can cause rebound REM(since they tend to supress REM) in the form of vivid dreaming.
