I am reading the book *****, and tried checking my cervical position. I am on day 47, and no sign of AF yet, just creamy CM.
I don't know what I am feeling for when I reach in, but I had to put my finger in as faar as it would possibly go, and all I felt was some very very soft tissue.
I didn't feel a hard part( like a nose or anything), just something very soft.

Yes, I've tried doing the same thing and got the same results that you did. I can't find my CM either...how do you know the difference b/t regular vaginal discharge and CM?
I would love to read any helpful responses that you get. Just wanted to let you know I can't figure it out either!
Good Luck!

I have been experiencing a creamy discharge as well. I read in one place that that can be good things, (Pregnancy)...{removed} My dh and I have been trying to conceive for abou 2 years. So, we have our first appt to the fertility clinic on Tuesday. We are both rather excited. In our case we are probably pregnant this month and won't need the clinic!

My understanding is that your vaginal discharge is different than your CM...is this not correct?
Does anyone else have any advice on this subject? TIA.

I was asking about the CP, but someone else thought I was talking about CM.
But my question is answered now, since I got a BFP today!

Cervical position is the hardest thing for me to get. I've been doing it for a long time too. I use it as a double check for my CM sometimes and post ovulation to make sure I'm done.
I think the best bet is to pick a time of day and try to find it using the same procedure, whether is squatting or putting one leg up or using the toilet.
Hard, closed and low is generally the beginning of your cycle and post ovulation. It will feel like the tip of your nose. You might feel a dimple, the opening is closed. Think of it like an indented ball.
Medium texture and height are iffy for me so I couldn't tell you.
High, soft and open is more difficult to find because it's up there. :) Your cervix will feel more like the inside of your cheek or your lower lip. Open means just that. Like an open circle. If you've had a child, it might seem more oval. You'll also have fertile fluid at this point too. It might also seem straight up, rather than tilted.
Your partner might be able to tell too. ;)
Congrats Angie!!! :bouncing:
